I have not seen a wild bird light in a tree yet. Pellet heads, you never know what they will do. Have had some fly back to the truck/buggy.
That shot was from a (canned hunt) product shoot a few years ago. After I took the photo the “talent” blasted the bird off the limb.
Later, when we skinned it we found a pop-up thermometer and a packet of giblet gravy mix.
That’s funny! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that. Either that dog saw the bird fly up there or he has a great nose.
